Subclass 500

This visa is necessary if you wish to study in Australia for more than 3 months (or 4 months if you are on a working holiday visa) full time in a recognized education institution.

Students who will choose to be placed at education institution through Education and Visa Agency will receive free application and visa assistance by experienced consultants and a Migration Lawyer.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must:

Be at least six years of age
Have been accepted to study full time at an educational institution in Australia
Have health insurance
Prove the genuine reason for studying in Australia

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

Confiration of Enrolment (CoE)
Passport Copy
Healt Indurance Policy (OSHC)

Immigration Department can always ask for additional documents such as:

Student’s financial capacity to cover their living costs in Australia
Proof of student’s English knowledge level
Student’s health and character

Student visa holders have permission to work maximum of 40 hours fortnightly when the course commences and is in session, and unlimited hours when the course is out of session (during course breaks).
