After graduation students usually don't know what options they have to stay in Australia. Many students don't even know that can choose to study a course that will lead to a permanent residency in Australia. That is why to choose the right course at the beginning of your journey is very important.
After graduation you may be able to apply for a Temporary or Permanent Visa
You may be able to reduce the time it takes to get your qualification – you may not need to study at all.

JOB READY PROGRAM
The Job Ready Program (JRP) is a four step employment based skills assessment program for international student graduates who hold a trade qualification issued by a registered training organisation and based on studies in Australia, and who require a skills assessment for migration purposes.
To be eligible for the first step, a Provisional Skills Assessment (PSA), you must have:
held an international student visa to study in Australia
a completed qualification in an occupation assessed by TRA awarded by a Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) registered training organisation as a result of study in Australia
evidence of a minimum of 360 hours of paid employment and/or vocational placement completed in an Australian workplace, using industry-standard equipment and processes relevant to your qualification and nominated occupation, within the three years prior to applying online. Unpaid work experience that was completed prior to 1 July 2016, may be considered to meet the 360 hours work requirement
A successful PSA outcome can be used to apply to the Department of Home Affairs (Home Affairs) for a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) where the nominated occupation is on the Medium and Long‐term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). Successful applicants can then apply for Step 2 - Job Ready Employment (JRE). A successful Final Assessment outcome (Step 4) can be used to apply to Home Affairs for a permanent migration visa.
