This visa is for young people who want to travel and work in Australia for up to a year.

If you have completed specified work in regional Australia in tourism or agriculture, you can apply for a second year of WH visa.

SUBCLASS 462

ELIGIBILITY:

You must:

  • Be at least 18 but not yet 31 years of age

  • Have a passport from: Argentina, Austria, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Uruguay, Vietnam.

  • Have enough money to support yourself (about AUD 5000)

  • Meet the educational requirements

  • Have functional English

SUBCLASS 417

ELIGIBILITY:

You must:

  • Be at least 18 but not yet 31 years of age

  • Have a passport from: Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom.

  • Have enough money to support yourself (about AUD 5000)

  • Work in Australia – six months with one employer.

  • Study for up to 4 months

Extending your stay

If you are already in Australia, you may choose to remain in Australia for further studies or migrate permanently. Contact us to discuss your possible options, you might choose from the below:

  • Student Visa – the easiest way to extend your stay through enrolling into another course.

  • Graduate Visa - Students that completed at least 92 weeks of study in Australia in certain courses may be eligible to apply for 18 or 24 months of Temporary Graduate Visa
